If you're having difficulty getting your eScribe stream to also stream to YouTube, please read the following article. YouTube recently changed the way you need to deal with streams that have ended, or become interrupted or disconnected, and you must take action to reset the YouTube stream so it will accept video again.
You must go to the YouTube studio page BEFORE starting your live stream and make sure that it is no longer in the "Stream Finished" state by clicking the "dismiss" button.

You must also do it again if your live stream stops for more than 1 minute for any reason.
If your stream stops for more than 1 minute, YouTube will go into its "Stream Finished" state and you must click "dismiss" again before restarting your live stream.
When YouTube is ready to accept the stream, it will look like the following:

If for any reason your stream was started while youtube was in its "Stream Finished" state, you will see that it shows "excellent connection" and "no data" and no video will appear.
Here is what needs to be done to rectify that situation:
- Ensure that youtube is now ready for a stream (by clicking "dismiss" if necessary)
- Restart the stream by performing one of the following:
- Stop the live stream, wait at least 10 seconds but no more than 60s, and start the live stream again. If you wait more than 60s with the stream off, you might need to check again that YouTube is ready and click "Dismiss" before restarting your stream.
- Contact iSi Live support and request that the YouTube stream relay be restarted. iSi will disable the relay to YouTube, wait at least 10 seconds, and re-enable it.
Option A will interrupt your live stream and your recording but can be done very quickly on your own.
Option B will not interrupt your live stream, or recording, but will take longer as you need to contact us and wait for a technician to be available.
